The Tweed Valley Jet Sprint Club hosts the Penrite Australian V8 Superboat rounds at it's purpose built facility near the New South Wales / Queensland border.
Just south of the Gold Coast and not far from Byron Bay, the track is set into a natural amphitheatre which provides excellent spectator viewing. The tight and twisting course is a favourite amongst many drivers and there is always some very close times posted during the Cabarita meetings.
We are a family friendly motor sport site with food and drinks available every race meeting. Bring your rug, your chair, your car and a gazebo. Gates open at 8am for the best spot and consider car pooling if you can. It's more fun with more people and parking is limited. Security and paramedics on site. You are welcome to bring our own food and drinks, but DO NOT bring glass onto our premises.
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH GLASS YOU WIL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
A gold coin donation will enable you to enter the V8 super boat's pit area on Sunday lunch so you can check out all the boats and chat to the drivers, navigators and pit crews.
Please take care on Round Mountain road and adhere to all speed limits and signs. This is a rural area, the road is a country winding road, and children, horses and cyclists share the road on the weekends.
